Sanja Jovanovic

First day of Shanghai Swimming World Championship have started. And we don’t have good news for our Sanja Jovanović fans.

Sanja Jovanović sadly did not qualified for semi-finals in 100m backstroke for ladies. She was first today in her race but overall she had 31 time with 1.02.75 which is 1.46 seconds slower than 16th place which was the last place for semi-finals. Fastest today was USA swimmer Natalie Coughlin with 59.73 seconds which is 3 seconds faster than Sanja Jovanović.

Thats a bad start for Sanja, but we hope she will not be desperate about this result and will push forward in upcoming races.
