This is her main discipline and she have fail to qualify for semifinals. Poor result for Sanja Jovanovic. We can for now just hope that she will do better in her next disciplines.

Sanja JovanovicSanja Jovanovic in 200m back finished second, after she lowered 50 fly Croatian record to 26.87 she took second place in 200m back with 2:13.15. Sanja also finished second in 50m fly with 27.07 result. In womans 100m back Sanja Jovanovic was again second with 1:01.15. An another second place Sanja Jovanovic won at 50m back with 28.54. Sanja have show that shes well ready for Olympic Games and we cant wait to write about her achievements in OI Peking.

Jovanović was in finals second, better than her was Agata Korc from Poland.

Sanja says: “I want to achieve my aim and dream, and enter the finals of the Olympic Games in Beijing. I will swim only 100 and 200m backstroke considering that unfortunately, there is no discipline of 50m backstroke at the Olympic Games.”
She also confirm that shes doing great with her coach Dimitri Bobev. Sanja Jovanovic is one of best Croatian hopes on Olympic games. She is World and European swimming champion in 50m backstroke and owner of 170 Croatian records.
